The new balance 310 is a lightweight racing comp which offers medial support and ABZORB cushioning suitable for marathon distances. This shoe features a lightweight plastic 10-lugged plate suitable for both, indoor and outdoor tracks, and also comes with removable metal spikes.
Upper
- Heavily meshed synthetic upper for maximum breathability
- Inner bootie to wrap around the foot and offer maximum comfort
- Synthetic overlays for structural support
- Branding overlay on either side for style and midfoot support
- Heavily meshed and padded tongue, and padded collar for snug, comfort Fit
- Lace-up system for snug, customised fit
- Perforated toe box foxing and side overlays for enhanced durability and ventilation
Midsole
- IMEVA midsole cushioning
- Cushioned footbed for in-step all-day comfort
- Removable footbed to accommodate an orthotic
Outsole
- Durable rubber outsole with flex grooves in the forefoot for maximum flexibility
- Waffle pattern lugs on lateral forefoot and rectangular grooved lugs in medial forefoot for maximum grip and traction
- Trusstic band on midfoot for inner arch support
- Scooped heel for cushioning and shock absorption to protect the backfoot and ankle from impact
- Decoupled heel for maximum grip and durability
- Reinforced toe guard onto the upper for easier toe-off and better protection to the forefoot

It's fine, with a couple of niggles. Colour is a shade off from the photos. Material is thinner than I hoped, though not badly so. Worth a look if it's on offer.
