This unique fabric has been dyed/ printed using traditional dyeing processes. Some colours may initially transfer when in dry or wet contact with light coloured fabrics or upholstery. This transfer will reduce after a few washes but we recommend that you wash the product separately for the first few washes.

fabindia specialises in natural, craft-based contemporary pieces, while also providing rural crafts persons a platform to use traditional dyeing and fabric printing techniques. With the essence of Indian roots, crafted with a focus on the traditional, this kurta sets the tone for an all-new trend for men. The yarn used to weave this fabric has been spun by hand, imparting to it the unique uneven character of khadi. Khadi aids in providing employment to rural craftsmen and so became a symbol of Mahatma Gandhi's Swadeshi Movement. A contrast to the monotony of machine-made textiles, this shirt is surely one of a kind. Wear it with denims or cotton pants and leather sandals.

  • Great value

Exactly as described. Material feels much sturdier than the price suggests. Worth the money.

  • Better than expected

Second one I've ordered. Sizing was true to the chart. Happy to recommend it.

  • Disappointed

Wanted to like it, couldn't. Material feels cheap in the hand. The men beige shirt just didn't work out. A shame, because the idea is good.
